A single working day is not usually worthy of note. However I’ve been getting busier by the day, and today is the day it peaked. I’m hoping for a long, relaxing weekend!!
5.40am – wake up, travel to first class etc.
7am – 9am – Corporate Group Class of ten people, mid level.
9 am – 9.30am – Running back to the office, picking up assessment sheets, running to the next office!
9.30am – 12.00am – 10 interviews (each 15 minutes) to assess the language level of future students
12.00am – 12.20pm – travel back to the office
12.20pm – 1.10pm – lunch, preperation for evenings lessons
1.30pm – 4.15pm – 11 more assessment interviews
4.15pm – 4.35pm – run back to the office, try to force down some food!
4.40pm – 5.40pm – kids class. 12 year old student – very dull!
5.40pm – 6.20pm – bus ride to another province – very tight timing for the next class.
6.20pm – 7.20pm – beginners class (10 people)
7.20pm – 8.20pm – beginners class (10 people)
8.20pm – 9.50pm – travel back home via the office.
10.00pm – eat
10.30pm – sleep.
I love my job and Korea most of the time, on days like this I don’t! Long live Western working hour regulations.I’ll post something more interesting next time!
